On June 6, the 2025 "Zero-Carbon Green Building Materials Day" event with the theme of "Zero-Carbon Intelligent Manufacturing • Green Building for the Future" was successfully held in Jining. Co-hosted by the China Building Materials Federation, co-organized by Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd., and supported by the Shandong Building Materials Industry Association, the event attracted extensive attention from industry experts, enterprise representatives, and media.
Since its establishment in 2023, "Zero-Carbon Green Building Materials Day" has had a profound impact on both the society and the industry. It has been included in the Implementation Plan for High-Quality Development of Green Building Materials Industry issued by ten departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as the Guidelines for Public
Access to Environmental Protection Facilities in the Building Materials Industry released by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. For the first time, this year's event moved out of Beijing and into production sites. Meanwhile, the first "Public Open Day" in the building materials industry was launched, with multiple building materials enterprises and museums nationwide opening their doors to the public simultaneously.

In addition, the event released a theme promotional video and a thematic report, providing in-depth interpretations of the development trends and innovative achievements of green building materials. Attendees also visited the world's first "zero purchased electricity" factory in the cement industry in Jining Conch, experiencing firsthand the advanced concepts and technological applications of green building materials production.
The successful holding of the "Zero-Carbon Green Building Materials Day" has injected new impetus into the green development of the building materials industry. It helps enhance public awareness and recognition of green building materials, and promotes the formation of a green and low-carbon production and lifestyle across society. In the future, the building materials industry will continue to aim for "zero-carbon" goals, constantly explore and innovate, and contribute to achieving sustainable development in the construction sector.
