Core Composition and Characteristics of uPVC Profiles

The performance advantages of uPVC profiles stem from their composite structure of “plastic + steel,” where the two materials complement each other to form unique properties:

Base Material (uPVC)

High Chemical Stability: Resistant to acids and alkalis, aging-resistant, and unlikely to corrode or deform when exposed to sunlight and rain over extended periods. Service life can reach 20-30 years.

Superior Thermal Insulation: PVC exhibits a low thermal conductivity (approx. 0.16 W/(m·K)), significantly lower than aluminum alloy (approx. 203 W/(m·K)). This effectively blocks heat transfer between indoor and outdoor environments, reducing energy consumption for air conditioning and heating while meeting building energy efficiency requirements.

Superior Sound Insulation: PVC's porous structure absorbs sound waves. When paired with sealing gaskets, windows and doors achieve 30-40 dB sound reduction, ideal for residential, hospital, and school settings requiring quiet environments.

High Aesthetic Flexibility: Extruded into diverse profiles and colors (white, woodgrain, gray), it adapts to various architectural styles.

Reinforced Frame (Steel Strip)

Enhanced Structural Strength: Addresses the inherent lack of rigidity and susceptibility to bending in pure PVC profiles, enabling plastic-steel doors and windows to withstand greater wind pressure (wind resistance performance meets or exceeds Grade 5 in GB/T 7106), making them suitable for high-rise residential buildings.

Rust-Resistant Durability: The galvanized surface treatment of the steel strip prevents oxidation and rust, ensuring stable long-term support performance.
