Under the guidance of the Department of Raw Materials Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Atmospheric Environment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and other government departments, the China Building Materials Federation took the lead in establishing June 6 every year as the "60 Green Building Materials Day". The first 60 Green Building Materials Day has the theme of "60 Factory Leading the Industry". The launching ceremony was held in Beijing on the morning of June 6. Call on the whole society and the whole industry to actively participate in green and low-carbon concerted actions to jointly create a better life. At the launch ceremony, the first batch of 60 building materials companies participated in the "Concerted Action for Green and Low-Carbon Development of the Building Materials Industry."
First Green Building Materials Day’s Activities
The activities of the launching ceremony include summarizing the green and low-carbon development achievements of the building materials industry in recent years; sharing the relevant achievements and experiences of the "60" demonstration factory; the launching ceremony of the "60 Green Building Materials Day" event; jointly launching the "Green Building Materials Industry" by 60 building materials companies "Concerted Action for Low-Carbon Development"; promote green building materials product service platform; new achievements and new image of building materials companies, "Yiye Shangpin" building materials product technology display area, "Creative Market" cultural and creative peripheral product area; 60 Q&A, On-site interactive sessions such as science popularization.
Green Building Materials Day’s Meaning
Under the guidance of relevant government departments, the China Building Materials Federation organized and carried out technological research and development work such as the "60 Factory", and the building materials industry's energy conservation and carbon reduction work has achieved phased results.
The "Six Zero" demonstration factories were proposed by the China Building Materials Federation, including zero-outsourced power factories, zero-fossil energy factories, zero-primary resource factories, zero-carbon emission factories, zero-waste emission factories and zero-employee factories.
Xi'an Gaoke Building Materials will also actively respond to the national call and contribute its own strength to promote global green, low-carbon, safe and high-quality development.
